We’re proud to introduce our newest cottage—Harbor Side Cottage in Tiverton, Rhode Island. We’re so happy to expand our collection of seaside cottages, she fits right in with the rest of the family and has everything you’ve come to expect from a Moore House guest stay experience. Quintessentially Rhode Island, you’ll love its waterfront views and coastal charm—and we mean coastal in the best ways— with plenty of views of the water, sun-drenched rooms, and tons of vintage decor in each room. Everything, right down to the entryway’s lion head double doors, is ready to welcome you to a relaxing weekend away. Come stay with us!
Owned by some of our favorite neighbors, this new cottage is very close to our Cottage 29—we loved them so much we wanted to add their charming property to our Moore House family. So we did! This house has killer views and stunning waterfront decks. Yup, as in more than one waterfront deck. The first floor is light and bright, featuring white wood paneled walls and traditional natural wood ceilings. Comfortably appointed with plenty of spots to sip a cocktail with a good book or gather with family to play games, the sitting room has glass doors that open to allow you to enjoy the ocean breezes sitting inside or outside on the deck. The dining room table, made from an antique door is big enough for the whole brood or if you want to host one of our chef’s nights.
The cottage sleeps five comfortably—with two bedrooms. One with a queen bed and the other with a queen and a twin bed. But they’re both incredibly well-appointed. With unique bed frames and interesting vintage pieces, they feel serene and spacious, but cozy all at the same time. Plus, each bed is decked out in the usual Moore House upgrades: a mattress topper and luxury linens that you’ll wish you could take home with you. As an added bonus, both bedrooms open up to a giant deck overlooking the water. Enjoy coffee in bed with the doors open up to that fresh ocean air. With two full bathrooms and a half bath, everyone also will have plenty of space and privacy too.
If you’re looking for a waterfront getaway that gets you away from it all, you can’t go wrong with booking a stay at this cottage. With its own original dock with a platform for cocktails and tons of outdoor space, you don’t need to go anywhere to enjoy much of what Rhode Island has to offer.
